Jane's Aircraft Spectaculars

The Jane's Aircraft Spectaculars series were highly illustrated treatments of a number of major military aircraft from World War 2 and the modern day.

Each large format hardback book included a concise narrative describing the genesis and career of the subject aircraft. Although the book includes several b+w and colour photographs, the real core of each title was the very-high quality artwork, (produced by Rikyu Watanabe in the WW2 titles and James Goulding in the modern titles), comprising scale line drawings, cutaway drawings, cockpit diagrams and large colour profile drawings.

The latter were presented on fold-out pages, and 3 of these were featured in each book. The books were printed on thick very high quality paper, giving excellent reproduction of all the images.
